Found that wget may fail on downloading the file from flaky available servers with 500 HTTP error, like it was seen on icu4c sources downloading, please check the issue: https://sourceforge.net/p/forge/site-support/20071/ Found that curl successfully downloads needed files even in such situations. Decided to use curl instead of wget tool to avoid of such errors feather. Also found that sourceforge site too often has issues and responds with 500 HTTP error. Decided to use the link from github instead of sourceforge to download the icu4c sources, as suggested on icu4c web site.

Added the command for 'build' directory cleanup. It purges all artefacts produced for curl build, including the old configuration in build/curl.

Set Dockerfile WORKDIR from the very start of Tarantool sources builds to make the Dockerfile code more readable and removed all duplicating calls to Tarantool sources directory changes. Check: https://docs.docker.com/develop/develop-images/dockerfile_best-practices/#workdir

Removed LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment from curl build, due to the path is empty in the docker image and no other commands from the Dockerfile filled it, seemed that it was not needed.

Before this patch RUN_TESTS condition in Dockerfile.staticbuild was ignored and always was true. However adding of brackets solves only part of problem. If RUN_TESTS is empty `sh -c` returns 1 and build fails. However if we run tests we should fail build if tests are not passed. Ternary logic was rewritten to fair if-else. This patch fixes it and allows build tarantool statically without running tests. @Totktonada: Fixed .gitlab.mk to pass RUN_TESTS environment variable to docker build arguments. Reviewed-by:

Hold libcurl-7.65.3. This version is not affected by the following issues: * #4180 ('httpc: redirects are broken with libcurl-7.30 and older'); * #4389 ('libcurl memory leak'); * #4397 ('HTTPS seem to be unstable'). After this patch libcurl will be statically linked when ENABLE_BUNDLED_LIBCURL option is set. This option is set by default. Closes #4318 @TarantoolBot document Title: Tarantool dependency list was changed * Added build dependencies: autoconf, automake, libtool, zlib-devel (zlib1g-dev on Debian). * Added runtime dependencies: zlib (zlib1g on Debian). * Removed build dependencies: libcurl-devel (libcurl4-openssl-dev on Debian). * Removed runtime dependencies: curl. The reason is that now we use compiled-in libcurl: so we don't depend on a system libcurl, but inherit its dependencies.

Added static build using Dockerfile on Centos 7 for release commit criteria only. Added the cleanup for cmake generating CMakeCache.txt files and CMakeFiles directories to avoid of cmake localy created setup failing inside the docker after the whole tarantool path was copied into it. Added testing into the static build, running only when RUN_TESTS environment variable set to non empty value, used in gitlab-ci job to run the testing after the build. Closes #3668

A possibility to build tarantool with included library dependencies. Use the flag -DBUILD_STATIC=ON to build statically against curl, readline, ncurses, icu and z. Use the flag -DOPENSSL_USE_STATIC_LIBS=ON to build with static openssl Changes: * Add FindOpenSSL.cmake because some distributions do not support the use of openssl static libraries. * Find libssl before curl because of build dependency. * Catch all bundled libraries API and export then it in case of static build. * Rename crc32 internal functions to avoid a name clash with linked libraries. Notes: * Bundled libyaml is not properly exported, use the system one. * Dockerfile to build static with docker is included Fixes #3445
