Feature: Sharding: vshard auto rebalancing

    Given a cluster with N replicasets when a new replicaset is added then vshard rebalancing should be triggered and eventually all replicasets should contain approximately the same number of buckets.

    Non-goals:

    • replicaset removal handling
    • different weights for different replicasets
    To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
